Alerts

Alert Providers
Create Alert Provider

Go to the main Alert screen to start working with Alert Providers.

I. Start creating an Alert Provider by pressing the “Create Alert Provider” button From the “Alerts” home screen and “Alert Providers” tab.

2. A popup with all the list of supported Alert Providers in Optikpi shows up. Select the type you need from the list.

3. Provide a meaningful name for your Alert Provider.

4. Choose Target Group Type

  • Card – Users from a particular Card will get your message.
  • Segment – Users from a particular Segment will get your message.
  • Custom – Users, ID which you will point will get your message.

4a. Target Group Type Card. Choose a Card among your cards.

4b. Target Group Type Segment. Choose a Segment among your Segments.

4c. Target Group Type Custom. Enter targets IDs. Use comma for separating IDs.

5. Select Configuration

6. Selecting “Active” or “Draft” Status allows Enable/Disable your Alert Providers.

If Alerеt Provider has “Draft” status you will not see it while Alert creation.

7. Enter Subject.

8. Enter Preheader

9. Create a new Template of your mail message by clicking on the “Create New Template” button or choose from the available one by clicking on it.

10. You can save the current Email Template. By clicking on the “Save Templates” button and then enter the Name and press “Next”.

11. Press the “Save” button to save your Alert Provider.

12. You can see the new Alert Provider from the “Alert Providers” home screen.

Edit Alert Provider

I. By Clicking on 3 dots in the “Action” column, a popup comes up.

2. Click the “Edit” button.

3. Edit allows changing Alert Provider’s Name, Target Group Type, Target IDs, Configuration, and Template – Subject and Preheader.

4. Press the “Save” button for saving.

Clone Alert Provider

I. By Clicking on 3 dots in the “Action” column, a popup comes up.

2. Click the “Clone” button.

3. Clone is creating an identical Alert Provider with the “Clone” word in the name.

Delete Alert Provider

I. By Clicking on 3 dots in the “Action” column, a popup comes up.

2. Click the “Delete” button.

3. The “Proceed to Delete” button allows to delete Alert Provider.

{% hint style=”danger” %} When you confirm and press the “Proceed to Delete” button the Alert Provider will be deleted permanently, without the possibility of recovery. {% endhint %}

Alerts
Create Alert

Go to the main Alerts screen to start working with Alerts.

I. Start creating an Alert by pressing the “Create Alert” button From the “Alerts” home screen and “Alerts” tab.

2. Provide a meaningful name for your Alert.

3. Set Schedule for your Alert – Start and End Date.

4. Set Time Schedule for your Alert.

5. Closing Scheduler, click the “Next” button to continue or you can press the “Rule” link to go to step 2.

6. In the Rule engine form you should set parameters for your Card.

7. Choose existing Lists, Cards, Segments or Actions and add criteria for it, then press the “Execute” button.

8. Press the “Next” button to continue.

9. In the 3 step choose Alert Provider which you created earlier. You can add as many Alert Providers as you need.

10. To finish press the “Save” button.

11. You can see the new Alert from the “Alerts” home screen.

12. Your Alert will be running at the time that you pointed and also since and till date which you set. Your Alert has “Active” status and after the launching, you will see the data and Alert Tracking – History.

Edit Alert

I. By Clicking on 3 dots in the “Action” column, a popup comes up.

2. Click the “Edit” button.

3**. Edit** allows changing Settings, Rule, Provider.

4. Press the “Save” button for saving.

Clone Alert

I. By Clicking on 3 dots in the “Action” column, a popup comes up.

2. Click the “Clone” button.

3. Clone is creating an identical Alert with the “Clone” word in the name.

Delete Alert

I. By Clicking on 3 dots in the “Action” column, a popup comes up.

2. Click the “Delete” button.

3. The “Proceed to Delete” button allows to delete Alert.
