Understanding Audience Types

In OptiKPI, audiences can be categorized into four fundamental types based on how their data is updated and managed. Each type serves different strategic purposes and can be chosen based on the specific needs of your campaigns and analyses.

Live Audience

A dynamic segment that updates in real-time based on customer actions and new data. Ideal for time-sensitive campaigns that rely on the latest customer behavior.

On Schedule Audience

Updates at a predefined time set by the user (e.g., daily at 9:00 AM CET). Best for campaigns requiring consistent, time-based audience updates, such as daily promotions or reports.

Static Audience

A fixed list of customers that does not update automatically after creation. Users can manually refresh the audience list to retrieve the latest data when needed. Static Audiences can be exported from dashboards, workflows, or RFM analysis and are ideal for one-time campaigns or historical analysis, where maintaining a specific audience snapshot is important.

RFM Audience

An add-on feature that segments customers based on Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (RFM) analysis. OptiKPI automatically updates these segments daily, categorizing customers into 10 RFM groups for targeted marketing. RFM segments can be exported as Static Audiences for specific campaigns.

Each audience type offers distinct advantages and can be strategically selected to align with your marketing goals and operational requirements, ensuring that your campaigns are both effective and efficient.
